Process Group Experience

A 12-Week Experiential Training for Therapists Who Want to Experience What It’s Like to Be in a Process Group

What are Process Groups?

Interpersonal Process Groups, or often simply called “Process Groups,” focus on exploring the emotions and interpersonal dynamics that arise among group members.

While participants often share some similarities, these groups are most effective when composed of individuals who might not otherwise interact in their daily lives. This diversity fosters an environment where members can connect in meaningful ways and gain exposure to new perspectives.

Through these connections, individuals can develop greater self-awareness and examine how their patterns of relating to others support—or limit—their personal growth.

Rather than directing the conversation, the group facilitator supports the process by helping members reflect on their experiences and draw insights that can be applied both within the group and in their broader relationships.
